Advanced level Massage Therapist

Our NMT and Clinical Massage Specialist, Cheryl's many personal trails have given her an intimate knowledge of our medical system. As a mother and manager, Cheryl has seen it all, which gives her an ability to stay calm in examining painful topics. This serves her well as her keen mind zones in on the key issues pertaining to your wellness plan. Her nick-name at Back To Bliss is, "Velvet Glove, Iron Fist," and her typical client smiles gleefully - anticipating the delicious agony of a laser-sharp clinical massage.

Back To Bliss is happy to have Cheryl leading the development of our Marathon location. Her past leadership experience and connection to the community make her a great fit for the development of our 1st satellite location. Cheryl's time is split between facilities, for your convenience.

Cheryl's energy is matter-of-fact, feisty, motherly, and sometimes blunt. These external expressions of fire may seem a little off-putting at first, especially when you add that she is a little hard of hearing, but they are the means she directs the deep compassion that comes through as she works to help you release pains of heart and body.

Emily Auberg (Pempek)
Senior level Massage Therapist, Yoga Fit Instructor, Spa Manager

Emily is recently married and enjoys spending time with her husband and son. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and extended family. She can frequently be found exercising and taking yoga class with her friends and then cooking up spicy foods for all to enjoy.

A long time therapist and student of alternative healing arts, Emily has found her passion in life in helping others. For the last nine years she has been working at various day spa and chiropractic facilities throughout the country building a solid and well rounded skill set. The quality of her work can be seen in the fierce loyalty of her clientele who returned to her in droves after waiting four years for her to return to Colby after she moved away. Emily is our Pregnancy Massage, and Thai Massage Specialist. Her alternative and centered personality serves her well in her massages, which are an equally balanced mix of men and women.

Her deep knowledge base in aromatherapy, herbs, fitness, and energy work, along with her high level of massage skills and wide array of experiences make her an exceptional manager. Under her leadership, we are proud to continue building a truly unique menu of services. Felicia grew up on the countryside of Merrill in a quaint farmhouse with her mother, father, and three siblings, Growing up, she found deep joy in the country life and in its beauty. Seeing the natural beauty of her surroundings is what inspired her to see the beauty in all things and people. She has carried this forward in her life and now strives to amplify every person's inner beauty with natural and healthy products. Graduating from the State College of Beauty Culture in Wausau, Felicia is a licensed esthetician and fantastic makeup artist.

Felicia is Back To Bliss' Sugaring, and Facial Specialist and her personality perfectly fits her chosen profession. Her deep understanding of skin and its care assures that you receive quality advice, while her calm and even demeanor helps you relax through facials and body wraps. Felicia brings a cheerful sauciness that keeps you comfortable through less relaxing beauty rituals like sugaring and extractions. Regardless of the tone of your service, everyone finds themselves refreshed and delighted with both the results and the experience when they see our beauty expert, Felicia.

Jessica Hopperdietzel
Advanced level Stylist

Jessica has over 10 years of experience in the hair industry. She is excited to be working closer to family and friends. As a graduate of Colby High School, she looks forward to offering her expertise to her home town. Working over 30 hours a week, Jessica will be anchoring our organic salon, and we are excited about her passion and creative spirit. Jessica has been living in Abbotsford since 2004 where she lives with her hubby and best friend for six years. She loves her house dog, Lucky, and enjoys archery, fishing, camping, and travel.

As a 2002 graduate of State College of Beauty Culture, Jessica has been constantly studying her craft. A natural perfectionist, Jessica enjoys all aspects of her profession and it shows in the quality of her work. She is new to an organic salon concept, but is excited about working with all of the organic products we have to offer. After just a few weeks in a chemical free environment she is passionate about the possibilities of offering a better product that offers both non-toxic health benefits and works (often better than traditional color lines!)

Jessica specializes in cut and color, loves pedicures, and works at a fast pace learned from her years cutting up to 24 hair cuts a day! Her energy is crisp, friendly, genuine, and professional. We enjoy her dedication and work ethic, her caring attitude, and the surprising layers of cheer and humor that lie just underneath the surface.

Jillian Jensen
Advanced level Massage Therapist & Nail Tech

Jillian is an accomplished massage therapist, nail technician, and is our Pedicure & Abhyanga specialist. Jillian loves animals and enjoys spending time at home with her family, which includes several dogs and cats. Very personable, her gentle nature comes through in everything she does. Her calm personality and professionalism combine with excellent skills to make her a highly sought after therapist. After finishing her education at Blue Sky in Green Bay, she completed her Nail Technician classes while working at a variety of spas throughout Wisconsin. Currently Jillian splits her time between the Hot Hause in Wausau and Back To Bliss in Colby.

Back To Bliss is excited to combine Jillian's exceptional sensitivity with our ayurvedic and signature massage concepts. We feel that the results will be another stellar provider that will be of the highest caliber in both physical pain relief and energetic balancing. Jillian delights in teaching brutes that the relaxation they need doesn't always come from the deepest pressure, but from a combination of techniques designed to create space and trust in the body/mind. Jillian gives a massage that allow the nervous system to deeply relax through her deep connection to your bio-rhythms.
